Dr. Dominik Ho is a German and European Patent Attorney.

His practice focuses on contentious proceedings that involve complex technology such as mobile communication and medical technology. Prominent contentious patent proceedings that he appeared in include the ones of:

With his experience in enforcing and defending patents, Dr. Ho assists research and licensing companies with drafting, prosecuting, and assessing patent applications. Further, he prepares freedom-to-operate opinions and caveats for manufacturing companies that either already operate or intend to operate in contested technology markets.

Dr. Ho has studied physics first at Heidelberg University and later, supported by fellowships of the Heidelberg Cornell Exchange and the Fulbright Program, at Cornell University. As a fellow of the Bavarian Elite Network and the Nanosystem Initiative Munich, he obtained his doctorate degree from LMU Munich in the field of nanobiotechnology.


As a German and European Patent Attorney, Dr. Ho is authorized to represent his clients before the European Patent Office (EPO), the German Patent and Trademark Office (GPTO), and the German Federal Patent Court (FPC).
