practice areas.

As a patent attorney, Dr. van den Berg is a member of the firms' strong mechanical and electrical engineering practice group. His practice focuses on drafting and prosecution of patent applications, opposition and nullity proceedings, in particular in the areas of biomedical engineering, prosthetics and implant development, mechanics, imaging, and telecommunication. A further aspect of his practice is the preparation of patent infringement and validity opinions in the course of freedom-to-operate analyses and due diligence projects.
